According to a recent press release from the folks at the CBS television network, under the canny guidance of Craig Ferguson, The Late Late Show ended 2005 by attracting its biggest audience since the show launched in 1995 with Tom Snyder as host. Which, while maybe taking an unprovoked, back-handed shot at Tom Snyder, seems like really good news for CBS and Craig Ferguson.
Even better news (and decidedly more relevant for us here at Sub Pop, and hopefully for you as well): Rogue Wave will be appearing on The Late Late Show January 19th! Rogue Wave will be playing “Publish My Love” from their new album Descended Like Vultures. And, it is our fervent hope that they will acquit themselves with such brio, panache and elan that each and every member of Mr. Ferguson’s rapidly fattening (in number, not individual girth) audience will be so moved as to rush, or otherwise convey themselves at the pace of their own choosing, to purchase the aforementioned Descended Like Vultures. Should you find youself so moved at the moment, here’s where you can buy Rogue Wave stuff from us.
It is also our only slightly less fervent hope that Zach, Pat, Gram, and Evan play well, have a good time, and get a truly comprehensive deli tray out of the deal.
