DAVID CROSS, TODD BARRY, JON BENJAMIN, THE THERMALS AND OTHERS PRESENT TINKLE IN SEATTLE!

On Friday, May 20th, The Vera Project (the most amazing all-ages venue/collective in the country, nicely situated in a town with prohibitively harsh all-ages laws) presents TINKLE, a part of the week-long “A Drink For The Kids” multi-venue, citywide fundraiser for Vera and The Service Board, another amazing organization that assists our underage friends in need. TINKLE features the sweet comedic stylings of funnymen Todd Barry, Jon Benjamin and our very own David Cross. Also speaking/performing are NPR legend Sarah Vowell, SNL’s Fred Armisen and comedians Eugene Mirman, Heather Lawless, AD Miles, Jon Glaser, Andy Blitz and Slovin and Allen. The Thermals and the New Pornographers are also playing, and we here at Sub Pop are filming the whole thing! Why? A TINKLE DVD will be released towards the end of the year, that’s why!
Tables in the front two rows of this event are available for $500 or $1,000 (This is a BENEFIT, people! These organizations need serious dough-age) if you call 206-447-1801 or e-mail kate@vanderberg.com. If you’re not a high-roller, general admission tickets are available for $20. For more information about this event, check out A Drink For The Kids’ site by following the link below. This is worth driving out for, trust me.xoJoan & Sub Pop
