Niki & The Dove to perform on YouTube Presents on June 13, 4pm (EST)

Niki & The Dove will perform at a very special concert event for YouTube Presents on Wednesday, June 13th at 4pm (EST). The performance is in support of the group’s forthcoming debut release, Instinct – available digitally in the US as an iTunes exclusive on June 12, and on CD / 2xLP August 7th right here on Sub Pop Records.

The band is scheduled to perform Instinct highlights such as “The Fox,” “DJ, Ease My Mind,” “The Drummer,” “Tomorrow,” and “Somebody” during their YouTube Presents show and the whole performance will be live streamed on YouTube’s Presents Channel as well as to fans who already subscribe to Niki & The Dove’s YouTube channel (you can subscribe to their channel right here).

This YouTube Presents event is extra special as it comes with the opportunity for Niki & The Dove fans in the New York City area to be able to attend this unique live performance (which will be broadcast live online via YouTube) and watch the live Q+A inteview with the band, moderated by Gawker’s Rich Juzwiak. Fans can not only get a chance to attend the show but are also invited to participate by offering up questions that they might have for the band for the interview portion of the show. Details on how to submit questions and enter to go to the show are provided below.

Fans who will be in the NYC area on the afternoon (4PM EST, specifically) of June 13th should email Sub Pop at before Saturday June 9th for their chance to attend the YouTube Presents event. Emails need to have NIKI AND YOUTUBE PRESENTS in the email’s Subject Line to be eligible. Fans who respond early will increase their chance at entry. Those who get a spot to the show will receive a confirmation email by Monday, June 11th which will secure their place in the audience and will provide more information on show as well directions/instructions for entry. This is open to all ages, but everyone who attends must be able to present valid ID upon entry (or, for the kids, be with an adult who can).

For those of you with questions for Niki & The Dove, now might just be your best chance to get them answered! The band will be interviewed live by’s Rich Juzwiak after performance and we will be looking to the comments on the band’s Facebook and YouTube page for great questions to add to the interview. Leave your questions in the comment section under this video on the band’s YouTube channel or on their Facebook page and be sure and leave your name so we can call you out if your question is used!

In more Niki & The Dove in NYC news, the band has scheduled two more performances for June 14: A session (and on air performance) at KEXP’s “Cutting Room” studios at 12pm EST and an evening show in Brooklyn, NY at Glasslands Gallery during the Northside Fest.

Catch these performances before Niki & The Dove embark on their first-ever US tour later this summer, in support of Instinct. Their 6-week tour begins August 31st in Los Angeles, CA at The Echo and will wrap up on October 4th, in San Francisco, CA at Popscene. The tour also includes an appearance on September 2nd in Seattle, WA at Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival. From September 5th – 27th, Niki & The Dove will act as act as direct support for 4AD recording artist Twin Shadow’s fall tour. Full tour dates can be found below.
