Sub Pop Is Hiring a Project and Marketing Coordinator (Mar 11, 2022)

Sub Pop Records is seeking a full-time Project and Marketing Coordinator. Candidates must be based in WA and able to work from our Seattle office when necessary.
This role is responsible for managing deadlines for the Marketing Dept., including those related to video production. This will include managing the entire video production and delivery process. The Project and Marketing Coordinator also coordinates and assists with a variety of marketing tasks under the supervision of the VP of Marketing. These tasks include: tour marketing, updating artist pages on Sub Pop and Hardly Art websites, and communicating marketing highlights to sales and distribution partners.
Our ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to work well independently and on a team.

Organize and keep all project/release deadlines up to date.
Responsible for making sure all project deadlines are met and communicating with the relevant teams when there might be delays.
Manage video schedule, deadlines and due dates; responsible for getting all relevant teams the links and files to video-related pieces by established due dates.
Contracting, payment requests and managing workflow and communication between artist/director (production company) and the label.
Project management of any additional visual content related to video, and coordination with associated teams.
Provide video project status updates to A&R and Marketing Staff.
Work with Marketing Dept. to manage guest lists and ticket buys
Maintenance and administration of Sub Pop on the Road (https://www.subpop.com/tours)
Provide venues, promoters, artists/managers w links to digital tour assets and art files avail on subpop.com.
Update external partner tour databases.
Update artist pages on the Sub Pop and Hardly Art websites, adding current photos, bio, social links, mgmt. info, admats, Youtube embeds
Update sales and distribution partners with weekly marketing highlights.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Previous project management experience, or proven organizational skills.
Music industry experience.
Knowledge of the Sub Pop and Hardly Art catalogs and rosters.
This position may be primarily WFH, hybrid, or in-office, but if the applicant chooses to be WFH/hybrid they must be able to meet in person at downtown Seattle HQ two days per week at minimum. In-office work requires proof of CDC recommended COVID vaccination series.
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Google Workspace.
