The Head And The Heart announce the release of the live version of their RIAA Certified Platinum debut album, The Head and The Heart (Live at Neumos). The live album features 12 of their original songs, plus a cover of Jimmie Rodgers “T Is For Texas (Blue Yodel No. 1)”, performed live at Neumos on January 14, 2011, a local venue where the band played some of their first-ever shows in Seattle. Off the album is the single “Rivers And Roads (Live at Neumos)” which is out now - listen here.
The Head And The Heart will further revisit the album on their 15th Anniversary Tour in support of their 15th Anniversary Deluxe album which is out now - listen here. Upcoming dates include two sold-out shows at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO, and more this summer.
The Head And The Heart was born of Seattle’s music scene in 2009, formed by a group of musicians who met at open mic night and then began busking and playing small venues, gradually building a devoted following through their communal energy and layered vocal harmonies. Their self-titled debut album, The Head and the Heart (2011), initially gained traction as a self-release before the band was signed by Sub Pop, the influential indie rock label that helped bring their music to a wider audience. The album’s raw, intimate sound—blending traditional folk with modern indie sensibilities—played a key role in the early 2010s folk revival and left a lasting imprint on emerging artists.

What People Are Saying About The Bug Club
“a near-constant stream of two-minute rippers that blend musical urgency with wicked humour and big hooks.” [Every Single Muscle] UNCUT
“Every Single Muscle feels a brawnier cousin of Very Human Features before it, where Sam Willmett and Tilly Harris deliver a breathless pile-up of body-based garage rock slammers, buoyed by inventive licks and a throwaway style that mocks their consistent songwriting leaps. Humor’s always been one of the band’s selling points, with characterful instrumentals managing to swerve the occasional novelty value of the lyrics; exactly where the cut-and-paste gamut of noughties’ indie bands fell short.” Treble Zine
“Embracing a diet closer to punk than their classic garage rock sound, Every Single Muscle comprises the same beautiful and raw poetry The Bug Club are adored for.” ★★★★ The Skinny
“Welsh duo The Bug Club have become one of the most reliable DIY-style indie rock groups of the last few years, and the first single from their upcoming album Every Single Muscle does not disappoint. “Watching the Omnibus” is a patented Bug Club ripper that clocks in at just over a minute, packed with hooks and self-deprecating lyrics.” “Indie Basement: Best Songs & Albums of February 2026” - BROOKLYN VEGAN
“There’s another Bug Club single, you see, one that finds them raucously rocking out and harmonizing like it’s the ’60s and “Twist and Shout” is next up on the setlist…see if you don’t fall in love.” [“Yours (If You Want Me)”]. STEREOGUM
