SPRINTS’ sophomore effort, All That Is Over, is a remarkable second effort that pushes the band’s dynamics into richer territory, finding new space and nuance while also going harder than ever.
Written on tour buses, in soundchecks, and very much in real time, it’s an album set against the backdrop of a litany of atrocities - the war in Gaza, the wildfires in LA, Trump’s executive order denying the rights of trans people - that sees SPRINTS trying to make sense of a society gone mad. The 11-track long player features the standout singles, “Descartes,““Rage,”“Beg,” and “Better,” and was produced by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band at La Frette studio outside of Paris.
Since the SPRINTS’ inception, they have established a name for themselves, crafting a ferocious live show that echoes the band’s recorded sound, equal parts raw and refined, catapulting listeners into controlled chaos.
SPRINTS’ previously announced international tour dates are currently underway with a series of in-store/out-store performances in the UK and Germany, September 27th-October 3rd. The band will embark on a headline and festival run in the EU/UK tour October 17th-Nov. 20th.
SPRINTS will then visit America with a headline run in early 2026, beginning on January 28th in Minneapolis, MN, and continuing through February 14th in Seattle, WA. Then from March 10th through April 2nd, 2026, the band will on their full EU headline tour. Please find a complete list of dates below.

What People Are Saying About Nation of Language’s Dance Called Memory: “The real deal…” ★★★★ MOJO
“The band’s fourth LP and Sub Pop debut is danceable, eccentric, and immaculate at once…” ★★★★ All Music
“For Dance Called Memory, the trio — Devaney, his wife and right-hand synth wizard Aidan Noell, and bassist Alex MacKay — once more teamed with LCD Soundsystem/Holy Ghost! member Nick Millhiser as producer. Together, the crew pushed the edges of NOL’s sound, creating something expansive enough to capture the weight of grief and loss that coursed through these new songs.” Stereogum
“Dance Called Memory, continues its study of synth-pop from the late 1970s and early ’80s. The new record adds more guitars to the mix, tempering the machine-made with a human touch.” New York Times
“It’s a fuzzy electronic project that’s both introspective and danceable, with flanged New Order–styled guitar parts sprinkled in to give their sound a refreshed feel.” FLOOD
“Ian Devaney’s Vulnerability Pays Off On Nation of Language’s Dance Called Memory.” 8.0/10, PASTE
“If there were a Nation of Language album that lifts the band onto the next rung of the pop culture ladder, beyond indie notoriety, it deserves to be this one.” “Best Albums of September,” Consequence
“entwined with beauty as much as melancholy.” Our Culture
★★★★ Live4ever
“an assured evolution” ★★★★ ½ Indie is Not a Genre
“A resounding triumph” When The Horn Blows
“another stellar record from Nation of Language” ★★★★ Stereoboard
“this Brooklyn outfit’s gleaming spirit continues to be a northern star” Electronic Sound

Father John Misty is announcing new international headlining and festival tour dates for Spring and early Summer 2026 in support of his critically acclaimed album, Mahashmashama, which celebrates its one-year anniversary this week. The Western US dates kick off Monday, March 23rd in Ventura, CA at the Majestic Ventura Theater and run through Sunday, May 17th in Pomona, CA at The Fox Theater. Along this run, Father John Misty has scheduled two-night stands at the historic The Castro Theatre in San Francisco (March 24th+25th), and at The Paramount Theatre (Apr. 3rd +4th). He will also headline at Boise’s Treefort Festival (Mar. 29th).
Father John Misty’s EU run will start on Monday, June 1st in Lisbon, PT at Sagres Campo Pequeno and end on Sunday, June 14th in Wicklow, IE with a headlining set at Beyond The Pale Festival. Highlights for this run include appearances at Primavera Festival in Barcelona, ES (Jun. 4th), and Northside Festival in Aarhus, DK (Jun. 6th) and Father John Misty’s first headlining shows in Portugal in eight years.
Variety says of his July 2025 headlining performance at The Greek Theatre, “He’s one of contemporary music’s greatest lyricists and one of our loveliest melodists (a good combo, when you can find it, by the way), so there’s usually some kind of euphoric effect even in distemper or dystopia. His wish is our command when it comes to actually enjoying stuff that sounds more challenging on paper, or even on vinyl, than it does in the flesh.”
Fan presales for the headlining shows begin Wednesday, November 19th at 10 am (local; Pass: Honeybear), with on-sale to the general public on Friday, November 21 at 10am (local).
In further celebration of Father John Misty’s first headlining shows at The Paramount Theatre in almost 9 years, Seattle fans can grab fee-free presale tickets which will be available IN PERSON at the Paramount Box Office starting at 10 am on Thursday, November 20th. Head down for coffee & donuts provided by Sub Pop, limited edition posters, Sub Pop sticker packs, and more (Sub Pop merchandise available while supplies last!)

On January 16, 2026, Ya Tseen (pronounced Yacht Seen) will return with their new album, Stand On My Shoulders, digitally available worldwide from Sub Pop. Led by multi-disciplinary artist Nicholas Galanin, Stand On My Shoulders is an incandescent exploration of existence, a celebration of love and connection to Land.
Galanin says of the song, “‘Twilight,” the third single from my forthcoming album, Stand On My Shoulders, “holds the tenderness of a moment that will never return.” It’s a song of love and presence, where two souls move together in rare alignment. The music pulses with shifting light as chords open into evolving textures. My voice offers a quiet invitation, met by Sidibe’s graceful harmonies, and Pink Siifu’s verse bends the song into another dimension. We close with the lines: “The twilight never blossoms twice. The twilight in your eyes is all I see.” For me, it’s a reminder that beauty is fleeting and often unforgettable.”
Ya Tseen has confirmed a 7-date run supporting Portugal. The Man. These dates will begin on November 6th in Portland, OR, and end on November 19th in Denver, CO. See below for a complete list of shows.

Galanin’s visual and sonic work are interconnected streams of creative flow, integral to the watershed of work he creates.
More about Ya Tseen Ya Tseen is a continually evolving musical collaboration guided by Nicholas Galanin/Yeil Ya Tseen. Born into the Sitka Tribe of Alaska (Tlingit) Galanin is L’uknax.ádi (Raven Coho clan). He began learning music from his father, Dei Kee Tla Tin (Dave Galanin, 1955-2021), an accomplished Blues guitarist who performed under the name Strummin’ Dog. In 2013 Galanin was in a serious boat accident while returning home from a hunting trip that broke his back and ribs. He recalls the stars overhead as he was airlifted from the boat, connecting him to his earliest memory of looking up at the night sky, and his connection to Land. Galanin has returned to this experience of intense connection to Land throughout his career, in many ways it guides his creative practice. Following the accident, his father gave him the name Yeil Ya Tseen, meaning Raven be alive, an affirmation of Galanin’s survival and an acknowledgment of his experience. After his father’s passing, Galanin renamed his musical project Ya Tseen (to be alive) as a connection to his lineage and responsibility to live and create as a part of Lingit cultural continuum.
Yeil Ya Tseen/Galanin has been creating music, customary Tlingit carving, and interdisciplinary art for over two decades. Galanin’s sculpture and video work have been shown at the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial, Whitney Biennial, Sydney Biennial, Desert X, Art Week Miami Beach, and by the New York Public Art Fund. Galanin is a member of the artist collective Black Constellation. In 2018 Galanin raised his first Kooteeya (totem pole) as lead carver in Juneau Alaska, followed by a second in 2023. Galanin’s visual and sonic work are interconnected streams of creative flow, each integral to the watershed of work he produces and contributes to. Ya Tseen (previously Indian Agent, Silver Jackson) has performed across North America, Europe, and Australia, most recently with Portugal the Man and Samantha Crain to fund the rebuilding of a Tlingit clan house in Sitka. As Ya Tseen, the band has expanded into a musical project, a fluid collective woven from numerous voices and sonic signatures.
Ya Tseen’s first album with Sub Pop Indian Yard included collaborations with Shabazz Palaces, Stas THEE Boss, Nick Hakim and continued his long term collaborations with O.C.Notes, Zak D. Wass, Tunia, Jesse Hughey, supported by Derek Haukaas (drums), Nikko Van Wycke (Bass), Jase Ihler (drums).
With their second release on Sub Pop Ya Tseen expands their collaborative approach, featuring Portugal The Man, Meshell Ndegeocello, dreamcastmoe, Anel Figueroa, Jahon Mikal, Pink Sifu, Sidibe, Hanna Ben, and Ashley Young.
Ya Tseen’s newest album, Stand On My Shoulders, builds on connection and revolutionary love as the foundation for collective liberation that ran throughout Indian Yard. The album cover art is a monoprint created by Galanin, based on a photograph of his father in Tlingit regalia. The regalia remains, but the wearer isn’t visible, leaving space to be filled by future generations. With Stand On My Shoulders, Ya Tseen uplifts the gifts given to us by our ancestors and the collective responsibilities we have to future generations. The album is an incandescent exploration of existence and a celebration of the persistence of love and connection to Land.
Weird Nightmare, the power pop-leaning project from METZ guitarist and singer Alex Edkins, has shared an official video for the new single “Forever Elsewhere,” available today on all digital service providers. Co-produced with Jim Eno of Spoon “Forever Elsewhere” is an upbeat and invigorating blast of rock guitar and irresistible hooks. It illustrates a clear departure from the lo-fi bedroom recordings of the Weird Nightmare debut LP and a big step forward into wide screen high-fidelity, shout-along anthems.
Edkins says about the song: “‘Forever Elsewhere’ is the most optimistic song I’ve written to date. I wanted to send an unequivocal positive message into the world. The line ‘Love, it will come,’ summarizes the overall theme: if things feel hopeless and the world is bleak, don’t give up, keep pushing. I like to think of it as a pep talk wrapped in fuzzy guitars.
I recorded with Seth Manchester (he engineered the last two METZ records) and Jim Eno (Spoon), and we tracked this one really quickly. Drummer Loel Campbell (Wintersleep) and Roddy Kuester (Julianna Riolino/Sadies) nailed it in 2 takes, and you can really hear the ramshackle energy in the song where the wheels almost fall off a couple of times. We tried to keep it loose.”
You can watch the charming and very fun new video here and now, shot on Super 8 film, and directed by long-time collaborator and friend, Colin Medley.
The band is confirmed to perform live on Oct. 10th at Nowadays Festival in Halifax and Oct. 11th at Sportsmans in Charlottetown, Canada with more North American touring to follow in 2026.
Best known as the vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter of Toronto noise rock legends METZ, Edkins has allowed his pop sensibilities to flourish under the Weird Nightmare moniker, releasing a full-length album in 2022 and a series of ultra-catchy singles on Sub Pop Records. Imagine The Breeders covering Big Star, or the gloriously hissy miniature epics of classic-era Guided by Voices combined with the bombast of Copper Blue-era Sugar—just tons of red-line distortion cut with the type of tunecraft that thrills the moment it hits your ears.
What people have been saying about Weird Nightmare:
“Weird Nightmare is all about hooks and melody. Still delivered with levels in the red, but these are ultracatchy powerpop songs first and foremost, and really good ones at that.” - Brooklyn Vegan
“The debut Weird Nightmare album from METZ guitarist/vocalist Alex Edkins is a hook-filled set of blown-out power-pop with distorted guitars, punchy rhythms and bright pop melodies.” - KEXP
“‘Wrecked,’ Weird Nightmare’s third and latest single is a driving and ardent guitar pop anthem centered around big hooks, enormous power chords and sweetly, lived-in lyricism.” - [“Wrecked”] Joy of Violent Movement
“All chiming chords and smart harmonies, ‘Wrecked’ is a boisterous ode to ’90s indie-rock and everything that followed.” - [“Wrecked”] Guitar World
