What’s Instore for the Fruit Bats?

Fruit Bats start a long tour national tonight (full dates here) in Vancouver BC in support of their killer new record The Ruminant Band. Aside from their unmissable club shows, the band is going to stop at some of the nation’s finest record stores to play some special stripped down sets. In Eric’s words “we’re gonna put together a super ripping sit on the floor acoustic hoedown jam for these instores, complete with dobros and banjos and stuff…”. These shows are free and all ages, so bring some minors and enough coin to pick up a record or two. Grimey’s in Nashville is hosting a special Labor Day cookout with Fruit Bats at 4pm – I wish I could be there. Big thanks to Fruit Bats for making time to do these and the stores for hosting.
