Our friends at Fantagraphics Books recently opened their own bookstore in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. To celebrate this event, and their 30th anniversary, they’re hosting a grand opening party at the store that’ll also serve as the opening reception for their “30 Years of Misfit Lit” exhibition. Over the years, we’ve worked with a bunch of cartoonists who publish through Fantagraphics, and can safely say that this should be an amazing exhibit.

30 Years of Misfit Lit will feature original art by Peter Bagge, Jim Blanchard, Charles Burns, Daniel Clowes, R. Crumb, Ellen Forney, Roberta Gregory, Gilbert Hernandez, Jaime Hernandez, Ted Jouflas, Megan Kelso, Tony Millionaire, Joe Sacco, Carol Tyler, Chris Ware, Jim Woodring.

All of the details can be found on the Fantagraphics blog page here.

Opening Reception Saturday, December 2, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Fantagraphics Bookstore:
1201 S. Vale Street (at Airport Way).
