Don Fleming might be most known these days for producing iconic records for Sonic Youth (Disappear, A Thousand Years, Rather Ripped), Teenage Fanclub (Bandwagonesque), and Hole (Pretty on the Inside), but he has a handful of his own musical projects to his name. Among those projects was Velvet Monkeys, who released the heavy Rock The Nation / Why Don’t We Do It In The Road 7-inch as a part of Sub Pop’s Singles Club series.
