The D.C.-based band Severin released most of their music via their hometown label Dischord, as well as their own Superbad Records imprint, but they strayed away for this one Sub Pop release, #56 in the Sub Pop Singles Club series. Their angular, anxiety-ridden indie rock was a perfect fit for both labels. Though the band only last just a few years, disbanding later this year in 1993, guitarist/vocalist Alec Bourgeois became the Digital Producer/Art Director at Dischord from 1993 to 2012. Limited to 2,000 copies on clear green vinyl.
