Antiseen are, to put it bluntly, anti “the scene.” The North Carolina punks positioned themselves as outsiders of a genre made for outsiders. In the grand spectrum of the over 100 releases in their catalog, their Singles Club 7-inch does a pretty great job of encapsulating the rawness they so coveted. Just prior to this release, Antiseen served as GG Alin’s backing band for the Murder Junkies album. It’s hard to get more punk than that.
