News for The Head And The Heart

Jiminy Fallon! Both Fleet Foxes and The Head and the Heart will be on the TV this week!

9366

In what even we (humble, modest simpletons that we are) recognize as a new personal best, both The Head and the Heart and Fleet Foxes will be appearing on the electronic babysitting machine this week! And, both of these appearances will be taking place on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon program of very high standards and taste.

Like so:

On Wednesday, May 18th, The Head and the Heart will perform “Lost in My Mind” from their recently released and also self-titled and also debut album The Head and the Heart!

And then, on Friday, May 20th, Fleet Foxes will perform the song “Sim Sala Bim” from their even more recently released though neither self-titled nor debut (it’s their second) album Helplessness Blues!

It’s just this kind of audacious media exposure that has afforded us the mid-level renown we’re forever prattling on about, and we very much hope that you will tune in.

Plus! If you are in NY and would like to attend either or both of these sure-to-be-historic performances on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show, here is how you can enter to have a chance to do that very thing…

Watch exclusive video content of The Head and the Heart from Record Store Day

The Head and the Heart released their self-titled full length on April 16th, which also marked the 3rd Annual Record Store Day. To commemorate this momentous occasion the band performed two in-stores in their hometown of Seattle, WA. Click here to watch the first of a series of segments showcasing the bands foot stomping performances and day to day chatter.

But wait! There’s more, as it is time to set your DVRS, as The Head and the Heart will be performing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on May 18th. Click here for more information on the show.

The Head and The Heart on World Cafe

8799

Hi all! For those of you who don’t get to go to SXSW and see The Head and the Heart live, we have a second option for you!

About a month ago, the band traveled to WXPN in Philly to record an in-studio with World Cafe. This is their third session EVER, and I promise they did a smashing job.

You can stay at home, cozy with your cat and some tea, and listen to the sweet, live sounds of The Head and the Heart starting tomorrow! I know, I know, I’m a little early in letting you know, but I will be on an airplane this time tomorrow. Here’s where you can L I S T E N!.

If you are lucky enough to attend SXSW, check out when and where they will play here.
