On Thursday, January 26th The Elected appeared on KCRW’s acclaimed “Morning Becomes Eclectic”* program. And yes, smarty-pants, that does mean that we are herewith providing you with “news” that is no longer technically “current” or “upcoming.”

But! So clever are the nice people at KCRW that they have, through the magic of technology, made it so that you can listen to and/or watch this performance now, even though it’s already well and surely in the past! Avail yourself of this modern marvel here.

And, so brazen are we, that we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that The Elected have only very recently (as of January 24, 2006) released, via Sub Pop Records (aka us, here) a scintillating new album entitled Sun, Sun, Sun . What’s more, now would be an excellent time to acquaint yourself with the several The Elected-related consumer fulfillment opportunities available here.

*Exactly what this particular radio show has to do with Eugene O’Neill’s terribly sad trilogy of plays, fraught with symbolism (Greek, Freudian and presumably otherwise), we are evidently way too dim-witted to figure out.
