The debut Band of Horses album Everything All the Timecame out this week and it’s been getting some great press so far. Take this Pitchfork review and this feature in The Stranger, for example. Surely you see what’s happening here, what the evidence is all unfailingly pointing to? Yes, of course you do, you are no dummy:

It is time for you to buy this record now and begin that part of the rest of your life with the good soundtrack.

But, you needn’t take our word for it (in this day and age it’s proving increasingly risky to take anyone’s word for anything, we agree). There will soon be several opportunities for you to hear Band of Horses on the radio (or even from a radio station on the internet) and decide for yourself!

On Thursday, April 13th at noon (pacific) Band of Horses will be performing live on Seattle’s own KEXP. Should you not be lucky enough to reside in Seattle and therefore find youself unable to tune in this performance on your frequency modulating device, the clever, clever people at KEXP have devised a way for you to listen via their website! Simply direct your browsering software here http://www.kexp.org/ and dig in (top left of the page under “Listen Live”).

And also! On Friday April 14th at 6:15 pm, Band of Horses will be performing live on Seattle’s KNDD 107.7 FM.

And that’s the shinola on that one.
