Four years removed from his tenure as lead vocalist for Black Flag (the longest stretch of any singer in the band at a whopping five years), Henry Rollins continued to push the punk ethos to the masses with Rollins Band. While the Cheech and Chong cover “Earache My Eye” exuded the hardcore tones we’ve long associated with Rollins, “You Know Me” shows the spoken word that Rollins was continuing to explore since Black Flag’s Family Man.
