See you there, loser!"Recording Academy – Advocacy in ActionAs a leader in music advocacy issues the PNW Chapter of The Recording Academy has organized a Seattle City Council Candidates’ Forum on Music along with community partners (listed below). This bipartisan event is designed to engage the music community on music business related issues before this fall’s important election. A panel of industry leaders will ask prepared questions and those from the audience.The Recording Academy presents this forum as a non-partisan event. No endorsements will be made. The intent is to give all candidates running for city council a platform in which to have a dialogue with their constituencies. This forum will be all ages, free and open to the public. Following the forum, the Recording Academy will host a reception for the participants and attendees.Wednesday, June 29 at Neumo’s925 East Pike St., Seattle, WA 981226:00 pmA reception will take place from 8:30-10:00 pm in the mezzanine level (21+).This event is open to all ages and free.
