FACTS ARE FUN! PLUS, SUB POP IN THE PAPER

Did you know that:One out of every 20 records (vinyl) purchased last week (first week of March) in the United States was a Sub Pop Record? It’s true!Fitting, then, that the Seattle Weekly recently ran a story on our town’s connection with vinyl in the music industry that featured our very own staffers Dean and Andy. You can read that article HERE.Did you also know that The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights” has been on the Soundscan singles chart for 111 weeks, which is three months longer than the next longest charting single, which belongs to Aaliyah. “The District Sleeps Alone” has also been on the charts for 87 weeks, while "We Will Become Silhouettes’ has been the #2 single in the country for the past 5 weeks. Our International Department Director, Shawn, calls that “fucking silly.”Might you wish to pirooz some of our fine releases for yourself? Click on the link below.
