THE END: FINAL SHOW HALLOWEEN 2001 documents this final hoorah and includes 18 songs from throughout the band’s relatively short-lived, but successful career. They play almost all of the hits here, included the rarely performed “boom swagger boom” with guest vocals by Pretty Girls Make Graves’ Andrea Zollo. You get to see the kids and even some of the band decked out for halloween, with sailors, spuds, apes, zombie elvises, and star wars queens. There is some rousing audio commentary from Spencer and Merchbot as well as some bonus live footage. If you were there or if you weren’t, this dvd is worth it because it truly captures what it was like that halloween night…
