SUB POP
Sub Pop Blazer SB Elite - 30780
This is a limited edition shoe made by Nike based on the infamous Sub Pop Singles Club. It’s a high top. It’s yellow. It’s collectible AND comfortable. I’m sure that you can find out more about this shoe on the internet with the help of your old pal google. Enjoy!
- Also, it’s worth noting that these shoes seem to run slightly small. (I got mine a half size larger.)
Released: 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 6 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 6.5 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 7 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 7.5 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 8 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 8.5 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 9 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 9.5 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 10 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 10.5 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 11 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 11.5 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 12 (us men's)), 2009-09-03 (shoes, size 13 (us men's))

This is absurd.
I think some explanations are in order. Why, why, why would you involve yourselves in any sort of business with Phil Knight and his cronies? It’s difficult to deny that Nike has a record of horrific human rights violations and environmental practices, which would seem at odds with your aims as an “independent”, “green” record label. Besides the ethical concerns, I imagine a small but substantial backlash from the “indie” community, who seem equally baffled by this decision (see the following articles: here, here, and here). Though I can’t imagine it would matter to any of you much, I feel saddened to see the crass commercialization of of culture slowly infiltrate a scene whose foundations were in ANTI-commercialization. Though some of my favorite music has been released on the Sub Pop label, it will always seem somewhat cheapened and disingenuous, and, no matter how many pairs of sneakers I buy, that can never be remedied.
