Mark Sultan / Hold On - SP811

We’re happy to present you with two great songs from Mark Sultan, recorded at Outside Inside Studios, through a cloud of illness on the European continent last fall. In addition to being a sometimes one-man-band, a great songster and purveyor of his own particular blend of psychedelia, doo-wop and garage, Mark is also known as the BBQ half of the King Khan and BBQ Show.

The record features the 3-piece touring line-up of Mark, as well as Choyce (CPC Gangbangs, Red Mass) and Simon Wojan (King Khan & The Shrines, Cloudland Canyon). The B-Side of this single (although, it could/should be regarded as a double A-side) is a cover of “I Hear a New World,” Joe Meek’s exploration of life on the moon. The first run includes 500 copies on opaque yellow vinyl with the rest of the run in pink.
