As you are one of our preferred clients, we have gone to the small trouble of assembling the following information for you: Lisa, our resident antiquarian, offers the following tidbit with regard to the colors and types of vinyl used in the manufacture of musical recordings: “it might be worth mentioning, in regard to colored vinyl, that it’s not always completely consistent, and that sometimes there are variations in coloring. Sometimes they even used leftover colored vinyl that was lying around the plant, so it’s possible that there are odd copies of odd singles on completely different colors.” Wisdom well ?

Iron and Wine is back and groovin’ like you’ve never heard him groove before. On this song Innocent Bones from the new album The Shepherd’s Dog you’ll hear very prominent bongos and piano that are probably new to your ears but the sweet banjo melody and beautiful layered vocals are still the same, this tune is a gem!

Punching Goodbye out Front is the first download we’re offering off the new Kinski record, Down Below It’s Chaos (which is out August 21st). It’s also one of three tracks on the new record that features vocals courtesy of guitarist Chris Martin. We’re pretty fond of it and hope you are too.
