Wed, February 7, 5:56 PM
You know The Thermals, right? They released an amazing new record, called The Body, The Blood, The Machine on Aug. 22, 2006. And, a lot of people seem to like it pretty well – Pitchfork’s Top 50 of 2006, _SPIN_’s top 40 of 2006, The Onion’s Best Music of 2006, and both NPR’s Best CDs of 2006 and their Overlooked 11 of 2006.
Yeah, THE THERMALS!
Well, very soon (FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16th, to be exact) you will be able to watch these…
The Shins on Conan O'Brien March 14th! chrisj
Tue, March 13, 11:34 AM
Our friends The Shins will be performing on TV’s popular Late Night with Conan O’Brien program on the night of Wednesday, March 14th. If all goes according to plan and we’re able to talk them out of doing their new live piece, “Boston: A Medley in Memoriam,” they will be playing the song “Turn on Me” from their recent, pretty-darned-successful -if-we-do-say-so-ourselves album, Wincing the Night Away. And, as if that’s not enticement enough to tune in, Andy Richter is going…

Fri, October 5, 11:41 AM

On Monday, October 8th, The Shins will be performing the song “Sealegs” from this year’s Wincing the Night Away on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Seriously!
You should watch!

Sat, July 12, 2:05 PM
So that’s a pretty exciting bit of the future that you and I are experiencing together. In other future related news, we’ve made an attempt to set up a festival related video channel.
The friendly folks at Kyte have provided yours truly with a video enabled walkie-talkie—I, in turn, am able to broadcast video, from the festival (here at Marymoor park) directly to the internet.
I haven’t mastered the technology yet, but if you want to watch the results of…
