The mighty Sub Pop is having a HUGE showcase at 2008’s SXSW in Austin this year. How huge is it? Two stages huge!
Our showcase will be on Friday March 14th at Bourbon Rocks and Bourbon Rocks Patio which are both connected, but not really connected. Bourbon Rocks is located at 508 E. 6th St. (6th and Neches) and doors are at 7:15pm.

All of the bands/artists/comedians participating in our various 20th anniversary revelries have agreed to play for free in the hopes of raising a bunch of money to give to a bunch of worthwhile organizations. Basically, we’re pooling the money we make, dividing it amongst everyone playing and each band/artist/comedian picks a recipient.

We’re teaming up with our friends at Hardly Art and Suicide Squeeze for our CMJ showcase this year! It will take place at Piano’s (158 Ludlow at Stanton, NYC) on Friday, October 24th. The show starts at 8:00 and is $12 at the door, or free with a CMJ badge. Here’s the full schedule:
