November is the month in which you are supposed to harvest the fruits of your labor and give thanks for nature’s great bounty and all that crap so that’s what we’re gonna do. Hey, Folks! So, I used to get all sorts of really awesome, interesting emails to my info@subpop.com email account, but all I seem to get these days in stupid ol’ spam and I’m sick and tired of it.
I am petitioning all of you for GOOD MAIL and I am willing to reward the best mail with some Sub Pop goods. (I was going to give away a red robe worn by Mark Arm but someone threw it away.)
To see…

May has arrived and here at HQ we are all ready for the best summer we’ve ever known, what with all the good records coming out and the hot shit SP20 Festival right around the corner. All of the bands/artists/comedians participating in our various 20th anniversary revelries have agreed to play for free in the hopes of raising a bunch of money to give to a bunch of worthwhile organizations. Basically, we’re pooling the money we make, dividing it amongst everyone playing and each band/artist/comedian picks a recipient.
Herewith the list of organizations to which these folks have elected to donate their share of the proceeds. And, sometimes, where possible, we’ve included a bit of info about…

Because we assumed that your Superfuzz Bigmuff shirt is getting pretty nasty from everyday abuse, we went ahead and made a new Mudhoney shirt for you! Yes, it’s that kind of market prediction that’s almost gotten us to where we’d hoped to be today. Designed by our own Jeff Kleinsmith, this t-shirt features artwork from The Lucky Ones, Mudhoney’s newest record.
Pick one up right here.

This is the one and only Green River t-shirt (that we’re aware of, at least) and it has been reissued on high-quality, 180-gram, American Apparel cotton (the gram thing isn’t true, but it helps an otherwise needy metaphor). The front of the shirt features the band and the back boasts a six-pack paired with the term, “Ride the Fucking Six-Pack”. So if you’re wearing it to school, you may need to turn it inside-out when you get off the bus

The book is pretty frickin’ amazing. You can see some of them in this video. Check it out and come join us. It’ll be fun
