Jonathan Poneman cleared home plate on Sunday afternoon when he threw out the ceremonial first ball at the Mariners v Tigers game at Safeco Field. Contrary to the beliefs of his staff and friends, he neither fell down nor threw like a girl. Congratulations, JP!
