Where Were You When Bleach Was Reissued? - Sam S.

6079

That was just yesterday, so I hope you remember. Yesterday was officially the cutoff for getting two bucks off the CD/LP. But you can still get Nirvana’s debut, Bleach, on 180 gram, white-vinyl, with digital download code. Or if you prefer, compact disc (both versions come with an amazing live recording from 1990). Nothing marks the day where you were all like, “I can’t believe it’s been 20 years already”, better than a reissue. Pick yours up here.

Fuck Tards

I was sitting on my couch, watching Glenn Beck with a gun in my mouth, when Bleach was reissued. Luckily, I didn’t pull the trigger, or was I lucky?-who knows? I think you should’ve waited for the 25th anniversary to reissue Bleach. Who decides what year something should be reissued? And will it be reissued again on other meaningful years? Probably. When will an album just be there without anymore tampering? Why does everything that ,in hindsight, was significant have to be reissued every so often? Why can’t the original album just be it? Who decides that we need it to be remixed and so on and so on? Who decides what a “good mix” is? Who made these goddamn rules? I want to fucking know. If no one informs me, then I will just wonder the streets in a haze and french kiss every bum I see.

I kinda sorta agree

As much as I love Nirvana, it would make more sense to do a 25th anniversary, rather than a 20th. I mean, now we have to wait 30 years for the 50th anniversary re-re-issued vinyl deluxe.
