by laurend630 @ February 3, 2010, 2:31 PM
valentines song
my favourite song by far is “over the pond” by the album leaf. it’s the best song for valentines day because it’s a quiet contemplative song you can sit back with a special person and just enjoy the moment.

When U Love Somebody – Fruitbats -from Mouthfuls

by blayn @ February 3, 2010, 2:52 PM
It's gotta be...
Clark Gable – The Postal Service. Me and my lady still listen to this album and we’ve been together 5 years and it just reminds us of how good it is being together. It also opened our eyes to kozyndan. Fantastic stuff that reminds both of how good things can be.

Touch me I'm sick - Mudhoney
And I was hooked to subpop for the next couple of years. Then in the mid nineties I felt abonded and the love died. But I grew back, and we’re in our second love fase right now…

2/14/10 A Classy Day to Love
Undoubtedly the perfect song to serenade a lady on VDay is…
Flight of the Conchord’s "The Most Beautiful Girl (In the Room)
Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be so serious! I would fall in love even more if my boyfriend sang me this song and compared me to a high class prostitute!
by morganyoowho @ February 4, 2010, 5:29 PM
And the winner is...
“Two Way Street” by Blood Circus!
Yes, I love Blood Circus and I don’t care what you think.
(“Swallow My Pride” by Green River came to mind first, but since Johnny already declared it to be “a close second,” I had to come up with something better…)
by Big Fucking Gaywad @ February 4, 2010, 7:34 PM

Pencils In The Wind – Flight of the Conchords.
So magical.. so meaningful.. the song of love..
by jeremysexytime @ February 6, 2010, 9:51 AM
This really depends on whether you are in a relationship or are a loser
I jest.
For you losers – Gone for Good by The Shins
For all others – I’m putting my money on a dark horse candidate – It’s You – DMM. Put this one in the playlist before Get Off and you’re virtually guaranteed the greatest sex in the history of the world. Or not. It’s difficult to tell when doing these thought experiments.
by Jason @ February 7, 2010, 6:37 AM
Afternoon Delight
A single song doesn’t do Valentines Day justice. So I’m nominating the whole Afternoon Delight album, which is totally in the spirit.
And my Afternoon Delight will last well into the evening, if you get my drift.
