Grunge Summit 2008: Part IV - Sasha Sarene

4621

Finally, after a long hiatus from Grunge Summit posts, I have found the motivation to reveal the last two grungers in the installment—Kim Thayil and Jeff Ament, quite a dapper duo.

  2. * Do people ever come up to you and ask for your autograph?*
    Yes
  3. * What do you think of the current state of music?*
Bad time for record labels, great time to listen to music! Greater number and variety of artists, genres, listening formats, and avenunes of distribution.

    2. OM Pilgrimage
    3. Ascend Ample Fire Within

  5. * When you meet new people, do you find that all they want to do is talk with you about grunge? Are you tired of talking about grunge?*
No. It depends upon the circumstances.

Slacktacular

Your lack of interest in these musicians is painfully obvious. The sub pop staff has no interest in anything other than the bland emo it promotes. These guys will never be forgotten for their contribution to modern music, unlike the slackers who "found the motivation’ to come up with this drivel.

SLACKTACULAR

Fucking thank you. Sub Pop has turned to a shit stain and music is a dead art form. The new millenium blows.

by Hendrix @ September 5, 2008, 12:33 PM

blowing millennium

it seems as though your favorite dudes above seem to think that current state of music is great. maybe you should check out some of the bands they suggest.

WoAH pt. ii

Reality is what you make of it dude.
The music in my millenium rules.

There Is Only One Solid Reality

If you think music today rules that simply means you’ve aquired a taste for feces and this decade has been nothing but so dig in. And I respect Thayil but I couldn’t give a shit about Ament or the groups they’re both listening to. The only reason sub pop is still alive is because they lowered themselves to sucking cock. Congrats you whores.

DEAD DUDES

I take all my music suggestions from anonymous dead dudes on the internet. It’s “cooler” that way.

by L Swain @ September 8, 2008, 9:52 AM

Oh No!

I forgot to use my real name on the internet! Oh, what a fool I am!

by Hendrix @ September 9, 2008, 4:15 PM

hendrix you are a

hendrix you are a fool for a thousand reasons. hiding your true identity while posting retarded bullshit is actually one of the smarter choices you’ve made.
