After leaving the Scud Mountain Boys, Joe Pernice gathered his guitar-playing brother Bob and some friends from local bands to lay down tracks that would further his sound.

HIGHLIGHT:
On “Overcome by Happiness,” Joe Pernice’s reedy, almost desperate vocals are ideally suited to this collection of bittersweet songs of confused romanticism.
